Job Title: Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement policies, processes, and systems that drive cost savings and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier relationships
  • Lead the RFx process and negotiate contracts with suppliers
  • Provide training and advice to employees on procurement policies and procedures
  • Develop an annual procurement plan and monitor progress
  • Identify and develop cost-reduction strategies and procurement practices
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in procurement or a related field
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as supply chain management or business administration
  • Professional Supply Chain or Procurement designation
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and agreements
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders
