The Quality Assurance Tester plays a crucial role in the functional evaluation of boiler systems and associated components, adhering to established protocols while consistently promoting a culture of safety.

Shift: Weekend Only Shift (Fri-Sun 7am - 7pm) (Note: initial training will occur during daytime hours for the first 8 to 12 months)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Interpret and analyze dimensional and electrical schematics to diagnose and rectify operational issues.
  2. Possess a solid understanding of mechanical functions and be capable of identifying and resolving issues in piping, burner operations, and other mechanical systems.
  3. Comprehend process documentation, recognize anomalies, and complete all requisite unit reports.
  4. May need to operate an overhead crane as part of testing procedures.
  5. Utilize specialized testing instruments such as high potential testers, fuel gas analyzers, and vibration meters.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting dimensional and electrical schematics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Capable of working autonomously
  • Familiarity with and adherence to all test pit Standard Operating Procedures
  • Electrical and mechanical proficiency

Work Environment:

Typical conditions include plant, workshop, field, or office settings. Occasionally, there may be slightly unpleasant features, but exposure is minimal or non-existent.
