About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized Support Worker to join our team at Davinderjit Singh Nijjar. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Exercise and Activity: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, and engage in activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Communication: Maintain excellent oral communication skills to effectively interact with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
