Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Royal Majesty Espresso Bar Bakery. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our coffee shop and bakery, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparers, counter attendants, and kitchen helpers.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to meet business needs.
    • Monitor and control inventory levels, including food, supplies, and equipment.
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are positive and that customers feel valued and appreciated.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff performance, customer feedback, and business operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Smart Serve certification.
    • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high standards of quality and customer service. The physical demands of the job include standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a physically demanding environment.
