About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Consulting Associate Partner to join our team at Aon Corporation. As an Associate Partner, you will play a key role in delivering investment consulting services to our clients, including pension and benefit plans, insurance funds, trust and endowment funds, and other special purpose funds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop client account opportunities, expanding the scope of existing projects and relationships.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and ensure appropriate follow-up with company employees, investment managers, directors, and clients.
  • Mentor team members on specific client types (foundations and endowments) or unique investment issues.
  • Lead ad hoc projects for the Canadian Investment Consulting senior management team and local executives.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of direct experience in a financial/investment consulting environment.
  • Able to understand the short-term/long-term needs of clients; capable of identifying business development opportunities to effectively close consulting assignments.
  • Embraces creative spirit in work by recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities to help with the growth and expansion of the organization.
  • Able to work independently on diverse projects, balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced/high-pressure environment, and meet project timelines.
  • Technical expertise and proven track record to remain current concerning investment industry trends, activity in the market, provincial and federal legislative policies, and changes.
  • French/English bilingualism required due to frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces, and/or internationally.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or Commerce, or equivalent years of experience. Completion of an MBA or CFA is preferred.
