Senior Commercial Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our team at Altrad Services Canada. This is a key role that will play a pivotal part in managing commercial contracts, negotiations, and procurement activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Commercial Management Systems: Develop and implement commercial management systems, strategic direction, and focus, providing leadership to the project administration team.
- Commercial Performance Analysis: Analyze and report on commercial activity performance, initiating strategies to improve outputs across the project.
- Contract Compliance: Ensure commercial performance is kept at the forefront of budget holders' minds, awareness, and consultative communications are in place and adhered to.
- Resource Allocation: Assign sufficient resources to implement, develop, and maintain positive commercial performance throughout the life of the project in accordance with the contract.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain productive internal and external relationships to engage stakeholders and enable the delivery of the strategy.
- Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary qualification in commerce, law, or an associated field, or at least 10-15 years of operational experience in the resources/construction industry.
- Commercial Legislation: Knowledge of relevant commercial legislation and experience in negotiation of large contracts.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
- Attention to Detail: High motivation and attention to detail.
