Pay Rate: up to $95/hour based on experience

Shift: Monday to Friday | 10h per day | hybrid

Responsibilities:
  1. Providing HSE leadership to ensure the safety of employees and contractors while protecting the environment.
  2. Delivering project management activities: early studies, engineering, operational readiness, construction, commissioning and handover to operations.
  3. Set and maintain project budgets and schedules to meet internal and external commitments.
  4. Engage and manage engineering service providers to ensure project objectives are met.
  5. Prepare, review and issue tender documentation.
  6. Source, procure and engage suppliers and specialized subcontractors.
  7. Create and maintain project documentation in the different phases to meet Kitimat and Atlantic operations requirements.
  8. Engage and manage area stakeholders to ensure alignment and the best solution is selected and implemented to meet the business requirements.
  9. Preparing presentations to investment committee and participating at investment meetings.
  10. Maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote teamwork, excellence and team engagement.
  11. Supporting a culture of continuous improvement in project management and control.
  12. Developing constructive relationships and collaboration with team colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
  13. Addressing issues and concerns in a positive and constructive manner with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
  14. Engaging and progressing objectives and personal development plan with the Project Delivery Coordinator.
  15. Leadership and people management skills; Effective written and communication skills.
Requirements:
  1. University diploma in Engineering or a Technical college degree in a relevant field.
  2. Registration or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia.
  3. An Engineer-In-Training with related experience can be considered.
  4. Project management training (PMP or master in project management) is a definitive asset.
  5. 15 years or more of experience in construction/industrial environment.
  6. A proven track record of site management with safety, customer service and financial responsibilities.
  7. Sound understanding of project controls and project reporting requirements.
  8. Managed 20M+ million-dollar multi-discipline projects.
  9. Experience in managing and delivery of capital brownfield projects from concept to close-out.
  10. Proven commercial acumen.
  11. Knowledge of the organization's policies and standard practices.
  12. Exposure to the client's project management is advantageous.
  13. Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada.
