About the Opportunity

This role oversees the day-to-day activities of site maintenance, managing resources to support production demand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and engineering, with experience in process utilities, HVAC, OEMs, process chemicals, BAS, purified water systems, and instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage site performance through effective problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Resolve complex problems and implement best practices to improve products and services.
  • Lead project teams and train junior staff in site maintenance and systems.
  • Manage contractors and oversee site daily activities, including pest control, heating and cooling, cleaning, and ground and building maintenance.
  • Execute renovations and projects, and manage budget effectively.
  • Identify and prevent workplace hazards, and perform incident and accident investigations.
  • Role model EHS practices and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and procedures.

Requirements

  • Professional license: electrician, millwright, or Science/Engineering degree in a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in maintenance, with chemical, food, and/or pharma experience required.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good knowledge of building life cycle and ability to estimate job costs.
