About the Role:

Accoravillage is seeking a skilled Labor Relations Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of people matters within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of HR Business Partners and maintain positive relations between the company and its employees.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations, and foster a productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement labor relations strategies and policies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to the HRBP team, managers, and supervisors on performance-related matters, including conflict management, coaching, feedback, and disciplinary action.
  • Collaborate with HR, legal counsel, and senior management to develop strategies for managing labor-related risks and issues.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other communications related to labor relations for senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Labor Relations Manager, preferably in contracted services, manufacturing, or other multi-union industry.
  • Experience managing and coaching team members.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must possess a class 5 driver's license and own a reliable vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous bargaining and contract negotiations.
  • Experience working in a diverse and inclusive work environment.
