The Role

The Pricing Analyst reports directly to the Pricing Lead and will sit within the growing Revenue Operations department at Sterling. The Pricing Analyst's core responsibility will be to ensure the timely and accurate completion of quoting for prospective and existing Sterling benefits clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Pricing lead
  • Working as part of the Pricing team, with a primary focus on delivering accurate quoting for new business and upcoming renewals
  • Participate in the development, implementation, standardization, and optimization of Pricing related processes
  • Contribute to continuous process evolution within the Pricing team and the overall Revenue Operations department
  • Complete peer reviews for pricing documentation
  • Perform other duties required to drive Sterling's vision and abide by our values
Requirements
  • Minimum education requirement is a Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3 years of professional working experience, preferably in the Insurance, Technology, or Financial Services industry
  • Experience with data analytics is required
  • Strong mathematical skills and aptitude is a must
  • Excellent Communication Skills Verbal and Written
  • Collaborative and team-oriented
  • Attention to detail
  • Technical skills in Excel with specific experience in data analytics
  • Demonstrated accuracy with Excel and ability to maneuver through many systems designed to support underwriting and pricing decision making
  • Strong time management skills with an ability to hit multiple simultaneous deadlines
  • The desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment
