Job Title: Labourer, Landscape

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Labourer, Landscape to join our team at Alpha Better Landscaping Inc.

Job Summary

This is a seasonal opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with landscape constructions, maintenance, and repairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting with landscape constructions
  • Tying and securing plants
  • Weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants
  • Cutting grass
  • Raking and collecting refuse
  • Removing litter and garbage
  • Carting and spreading topsoil and other materials
  • Laying sod or seed
  • Planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Repairing and maintaining equipment
  • Watering and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment
Responsibilities

The Labourer, Landscape will be responsible for:

  • Working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Performing repetitive tasks
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Working in a physically demanding environment
  • Using manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
