About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pool Installation Assistant at Pro West Pools & Construction (2014) Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation of swimming pools, including moving tools and equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and cleaning machines and work areas.
  • Support tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, assisting with their immediate settlement needs and social and labour market integration.
  • Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster, and support their foreign credential recognition and mentorship programs.
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Ability to work outdoors in dusty and wet/damp environments
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
