About the Role:

B+H Architects is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Interior Designer to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our Healthcare Interior Design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for healthcare projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Healthcare Architecture team and Healthcare Interior Leads to develop and implement design solutions for healthcare projects.
  • Work with clients to understand their goals, needs, and resources, and develop design solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide design leadership and guidance to junior team members, and mentor them to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to deliver innovative and effective design solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and proposals to secure new projects and clients.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare interior design, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality design solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare design principles, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and to lead and mentor junior team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative design solutions.
  • Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
