About the Role

B+H Architects is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in our Toronto Studio. As a key member of our Healthcare Interior Design team, you will be responsible for overseeing the interior design process and deliverables, establishing project direction, and working within project budgets and schedules for large-scale projects in North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the interior design process and deliverables, establishing project direction and working within project budgets and schedules.
  • Manage multiple projects and a team of intermediate and junior designers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Provide world-class conceptual design leadership, inspiring teams to strive for design excellence.
  • Administer contract documents, bids, and negotiations as the client's consultant, coordinating with other design professionals as needed.
  • Complete construction administration from tender through project close-out.
  • Mentor and train intermediate and junior designers to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • A degree or diploma from a CIDA-accredited Interior Design program.
  • Minimum 9 years of industry experience with Healthcare, including experience working on P3 Healthcare projects.
  • A membership with ARIDO (or other relevant regulatory body).
  • Sound knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, Windows, and 3D graphic programs such as 3Ds Max, Sketch-up, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Comfortable working within a fully integrated global interiors, architecture, planning, and landscape architecture firm.
  • Passionate about design, with a positive outlook, collaborative attitude, and patience.
