Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker

Advance Sheet Metal Ltd. is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling sheet metal products in our factory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates.
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
  • Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces.
  • Develop computerized patterns and layouts.
  • Cut materials using power tools or by hand.
  • Assemble, erect, and install hoisting and rigging equipment.
  • Fit and join sheet metal parts.
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from surfaces of metal products.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work requirements.

Work Environment:

Our factory is located in a variety of locations, and you will be required to work in a shop fabrication setting. You will be exposed to various work settings, including installation and fabrication.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.

Hours:

30 to 40 hours per week.
