Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Clinician to join our team in the Skin, Wound and Ostomy department. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide expert care to patients with complex skin, wound, and ostomy needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with skin, wound, and ostomy issues
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote wound healing and prevent skin breakdown
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on skin, wound, and ostomy care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in skin, wound, and ostomy care
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
- Current Certificate as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Certification as a Nurse Specialized in Skin, Wound and Ostomy care (NSWOC) or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing, with a focus on skin, wound, and ostomy care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
