Job Summary

Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Clinician to join our team in the Skin, Wound and Ostomy department. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide expert care to patients with complex skin, wound, and ostomy needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with skin, wound, and ostomy issues
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote wound healing and prevent skin breakdown
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on skin, wound, and ostomy care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in skin, wound, and ostomy care
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
  • Current Certificate as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Certification as a Nurse Specialized in Skin, Wound and Ostomy care (NSWOC) or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing, with a focus on skin, wound, and ostomy care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
