Nurse Clinician

Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Clinician to join our team in the Skin Wound and Ostomy department. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide expert care to patients with complex skin, wound, and ostomy needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop individualized plans of care for patients with skin, wound, and ostomy issues
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on skin, wound, and ostomy care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement best practices for skin, wound, and ostomy care
- Participate in the development and implementation of corporate skin, wound, and ostomy programs
- Mentor and educate clinical staff on skin, wound, and ostomy care
- Baccalaureate level Nursing degree
- Current Certificate as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Certification as a Nurse Specialized in Skin Wound and Ostomy (NSWOC) or equivalent program recognized through The Canadian Association of Enterostomal Therapy
- International Interprofessional Wound Care Course certification an asset
- Recent experience in Nursing, with a focus on skin, wound, and ostomy care
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
