About the Role

Arcadis Canada Mobility's Digital, Road Design and CAD discipline is seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to join its growing team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the BIM production team and liaising with various discipline groups that represent the Mobility group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce, review, and manage project drawings and documentation using Building Information Models (BIM)
  • Ensure that project models meet Arcadis and project standards, and align with project BIM goals
  • Develop and champion BIM Execution Plans for projects, ensuring their fulfillment throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize model performance
  • Lead the BIM Team for both Design and Production, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Maintain close communication with the Canada Mobility BIM Lead to ensure bi-directional communication between staff and the region

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in BIM technology support roles in the A/E field, including production and coordination
  • Experience with Civil 3D and 3D design, multi-discipline coordination, model management, and data exchange
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills, with the ability to teach others about best practices in BIM
  • Excellent planning and organization skills, with the ability to work in fast-paced projects
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges
  • Ability to interact with external entities (clients, owners, agencies) to interpret and understand desired BIM or CAD delivery requirements
