Position Overview: The Department of University Relations at Academica Group is seeking applications for the role of Director of Advancement Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a diverse team of managers and staff focused on fundraising, donor relations, and alumni engagement.
  • Provide strategic direction to initiatives that align with the institution's mission and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Alumni Association to enhance the global network of alumni through impactful programs.
  • Utilize extensive fundraising expertise to support current and future funding priorities, including significant campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing and mentoring teams.
  • Experience managing capital campaigns and securing substantial donations.
  • Strong knowledge of the philanthropic landscape and donor engagement strategies.
  • Exceptional project management abilities, capable of overseeing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in proposal writing and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial approach to relationship building.
  • Commitment to accountability, collaboration, and the principles of equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in fundraising, preferably within a higher education context.
  • A university degree is required; a CFRE designation is advantageous.
