Job Title: Construction Painters Foreman/Woman

Mountainside Painting Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Painters Foreman/Woman to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to oversee our painting projects, supervise workers, and ensure the successful completion of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate painting projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Oversee the work of painters, ensuring they have the necessary tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Recruit and train new staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Manage materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring they are ordered and delivered on time.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
  • Requisition materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring they meet project needs.
  • Lead and instruct staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet project objectives.
  • Supervise other workers, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Repair cracks and holes, applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in painting and construction.
  • Proven track record of supervising and coordinating projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty environments.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
