Associate Director, Pharmacokinetics Expert

We are seeking an exceptional Associate Director, Pharmacokinetics, to join our team at AbCellera. As a leader in drug development, you will be responsible for strategic oversight of pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling and human dose projections, supporting both discovery and development teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership in the design and execution of PK data packages tailored for individual programs
- Establish strategy, predict and verify appropriate dosing regimens to demonstrate antibody PK/PD relationships across a range of drug targets and disease areas
- Oversee a team focused on pharmacokinetics studies to support antibody design and assessment
- Collaborate with teams across the company to generate data and interpret them
- Train and mentor more junior scientists
- Evaluate new technology and test new models to better predict human illness
- Report findings to our teams and partners to support data-driven decision making
- PhD in Biology, Pharmacology, or related discipline with 12-15 years of industry experience, including 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Expertise in designing PK studies and conducting PK/PD data analysis using WinNonlin or other similar software
- Proven track record of building PK datasets to support successful drug development programs, from early discovery and into later stages
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey scientific and technical concepts effectively
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for innovative ideas, with a willingness to collaborate in a fast-paced environment
AbCellera offers a competitive salary range of CAD $162,900 - $203,600 annually, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we offer equity, annual bonus dependent on team and company performance, and a 6% (non-match) RRSP contribution. You will also receive a CAD $1,500 annual Active Lifestyle Allowance, annual vacation, professional development opportunities, and comprehensive health benefits.
