Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our Client Operations team. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for managing a team of fund accountants, ensuring timely delivery of client reports, and collaborating with internal teams to drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of fund accountants to deliver high-quality client reports and financial statements.
- Partner with investment managers, brokers, and auditors to resolve daily operational issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of client deliverables while maintaining operational controls.
- Participate in system improvement projects and contribute to idea generation for future process or technological improvements.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education/University Degree with a concentration in finance or accounting.
- 4+ years of experience working in the fund administration industry with experience managing staff, at least 2 of those working in a Private Equity role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- In-depth understanding of fund administration industry, including multiple fund structures, fee calculations, financial instruments, and fund offering documentation review.
- 1+ years of experience with fund accounting software, Investran would be an asset.
