About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Sales Manager to join our team at Canadian Tire Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer engagement.
- Coach and train sales associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and promotions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail sales environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- Proven track record of sales growth and customer service excellence.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions.
