Dura Digital is seeking a talented and seasoned Senior User Experience and Interface Designer to enhance our design capabilities. This position emphasizes the development of comprehensive user experiences and the integration of design with strategic solutions for global digital challenges. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in UX and human-centered design methodologies.

This multifaceted professional will play a crucial role within our design division, collaborating with fellow designers, developers, and clients, while engaging in constructive feedback throughout all project phases. Your contributions will be vital to the evolution and strategic direction of our human-centered design studio at Dura Digital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize human-centered design principles and innovative thinking to tackle business challenges, iterating on solutions that effectively meet client and user needs.
  • Assist clients in delivering outstanding user experiences through a variety of UX deliverables, including research, wireframing, UI design, user testing, and prototyping.
  • Create fresh and innovative designs that simplify complex concepts into engaging digital experiences.
  • Lead and manage content strategy across projects, integrating strategy, digital design, compelling content, and innovation.
  • Prioritize tasks across creative projects and navigate through ambiguous situations independently.
  • Engage with client teams as necessary, participating in their processes and adapting to their operational styles.
  • Collaborate with various disciplines, including product management, engineering, and client stakeholders.
  • Apply best practices for usability and accessibility to all design outputs.
  • Work effectively with clients and team members across different time zones.
  • Participate in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback on design solutions.
  • Assist in developing project roadmaps and estimating related tasks.
  • Identify and propose opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Facilitate user research, testing sessions, workshops, and client meetings.
  • Demonstrate a passion for UX and advocate for its advantages both internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in UX or Product Design.
  • Strong creative vision paired with a comprehensive understanding of business objectives.
  • Proven track record of working with remote and geographically diverse teams.
  • Experience in concept development, user research, product analysis, interaction design, and usability testing.
  • Proficiency in contemporary design tools, such as Figma.
  • Ability to ensure that final visual designs align with brand identity and strategic goals.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for design.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of clearly articulating ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in designing for web and mobile applications, including responsive design.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • A current portfolio showcasing relevant work samples.
