pt Health is looking for a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to become a vital part of our team in a Permanent Part-Time role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the physiotherapist in executing tailored treatment plans for residents in care facilities.
  • Administer prescribed therapies including gait training, balance improvement exercises, and range of motion activities.
  • Lead safe and effective exercise sessions for groups of residents.
  • Prepare therapeutic equipment and ensure treatment areas are well-maintained.
  • Maintain regular communication with the physiotherapist regarding the progress of residents.
  • Document daily treatments accurately using the company’s management system.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a PTA/OTA diploma or equivalent healthcare qualification.
  • Experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certification.

All applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencing employment.
