About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Governance Specialist to join our team at Saputo Inc. As a key member of our Legal Affairs department, you will play a critical role in supporting the board of directors and ensuring effective governance practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the board of directors and its committees in matters related to governance, corporate secretary, and securities.
  • Participate in articulating the governance and disclosure strategy.
  • Manage all corporate entities and global subsidiaries of Saputo Inc.
  • Manage various corporate reorganization projects.
  • Participate in discussions with stakeholders on governance and sustainability issues.
  • Develop, improve, write, and revise internal policies.
  • Stay informed of legislative changes and best practices in governance and disclosure, and make recommendations as needed.
  • Provide support in implementing and administering long-term incentive plans and employee stock ownership plans.
Requirements
  • Between 3 and 5 years of experience in corporate law, governance, and securities.
  • Mastery of the French and English languages, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
