We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Governance Specialist to join our team at Saputo Inc. As a key member of our Legal Affairs department, you will play a critical role in supporting the board of directors and ensuring effective governance practices.
Key Responsibilities- Support the board of directors and its committees in matters related to governance, corporate secretary, and securities.
- Participate in articulating the governance and disclosure strategy.
- Manage all corporate entities and global subsidiaries of Saputo Inc.
- Manage various corporate reorganization projects.
- Participate in discussions with stakeholders on governance and sustainability issues.
- Develop, improve, write, and revise internal policies.
- Stay informed of legislative changes and best practices in governance and disclosure, and make recommendations as needed.
- Provide support in implementing and administering long-term incentive plans and employee stock ownership plans.
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience in corporate law, governance, and securities.
- Mastery of the French and English languages, both orally and in writing.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- A hybrid work environment with the possibility of working from home 2 days a week.
- Advantageous corporate agreements.
- A group retirement pension plan with employer contribution.
Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
