Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to join our team at Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the physical security of our facilities, assets, and employees, as well as providing guidance and recommendations on all aspects of security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement physical security and protection programs, policies, and practices to ensure compliance with company, regulatory, legal, and ethical policies and requirements.
  • Conduct security audits and ensure all security equipment and systems are operating in accordance with operating procedures.
  • Lead consultations with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement strategic business plans to reduce risks and exposures related to physical security and protection.
  • Recommend and implement security solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
  • Liaise with outside security consultants and security equipment providers to determine security needs and oversee project implementations.
  • Identify emerging security issues and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Review and sign-off on the security design for all significant security and building projects, monitor project completion, and perform final inspections.
  • Conduct thorough, unbiased, and timely investigations, including review of CCTV footage.
  • Liaise with external investigative units as required to ensure a full investigation is conducted.
  • Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve security issues.
  • Respond to and assist in the management of crisis situations.
  • Respond to and provide support for urgent/emergency situations after normal business hours.
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in an investigative/analytical role in law enforcement or another discipline that involves the investigation of casework and the assembly of information/evidence to prove a case in court or justify a recommendation or other outcome.
  • Bilingual in spoken and written English and French.
  • Experience with implementation, operation, and support of electronic access control and surveillance systems.
  • Experience in presenting or delivering presentations and training programs.
  • Administrative skills and ability to handle multiple projects and assignments concurrently.
  • Strong analytical skills and good interview, interrogation, and investigation techniques and skills.
  • Post-secondary degree and/or university/college courses in law enforcement or a relevant field are preferred.
