Exciting Opportunity for a Bilingual Clinical Regulatory Compliance Specialist with Operating Room Experience

Position Overview:

  • Ensure that facilities adhere to accreditation standards
  • Conduct both virtual and onsite evaluations of clinics
  • Evaluate compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Assist clinics during regulatory evaluations
  • Serve as a communication bridge between facilities and the OR Affairs team
  • Engage in cross-departmental collaboration
  • Maintain digital records and documentation
  • Oversee statistical reporting and facility approvals
  • Travel across Canada and potentially the US for evaluations
  • Organize documentation and manage accreditation schedules
  • Facilitate training and coaching sessions to enhance understanding of standards
  • Support the advancement of mEYEstro and other initiatives
  • Contribute to upcoming accreditation projects

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of clinical or surgical experience
  • Nursing background is preferred
  • Experience in developing Standard Operating Procedures and quality enhancement projects
  • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards
  • Self-driven and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting
  • Collaborative and supportive team contributor
