About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites West Edmonton. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including floors, surfaces, and fixtures, to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Room Preparation: Prepare guest rooms for arrival, including making beds, restocking linens, and replenishing amenities.
  • Public Area Maintenance: Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
  • Laundry and Linen Management: Sort, wash, and fold laundry, and restock linens and amenities.
  • Guest Services: Provide exceptional guest service by responding to guest requests and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, physically demanding.
  • Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
