Role Overview

  • The Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure effective coordination, planning, and execution of key project elements.
  • This role involves reporting to the Project Management Head and assisting with daily operational tasks.
  • Key responsibilities include preparing communications, progress reports, meeting agendas, and minutes.
  • Proficiency in managing complex data through Excel is essential.
  • Responsibilities also encompass project scheduling and tracking action items.
  • Invoicing and financial updates related to projects and programs will be part of the role.
  • Document management and filing will be required.
  • Conducting industry research and analysis is also a key duty.
  • Assisting in obtaining quotes from subcontractors and addressing any deficiencies will be necessary.
  • Additional administrative tasks may be assigned as needed.

Essential Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a professional or project management environment is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work are crucial.
  • A proven track record of self-motivation and a strong work ethic is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Strong follow-up and information-gathering abilities are essential.
  • Outstanding organizational skills are a must.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to undertake various duties as required are important.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • Experience with MS Project is considered a plus.
