Job Summary:
Alberta Health Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care to individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing services to patients, families, and communities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Utilize critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families, promoting health promotion and maintenance.
- Support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, reflecting the shared vision and values of Alberta Health Services.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
- Previous Long Term Care experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CCHSS training an asset.
- ROL training an asset.
- Charge Nurse experience an asset.
