Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a wide range of nursing services to patients, families, and communities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making to deliver safe and quality patient care.
- Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families, promoting health promotion and maintenance.
- Support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance, reflecting the shared vision and values of Alberta Health Services.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
- Completion of the CRNA Medication Management - Chapters and NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (if not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five years).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Rural Acute Care and ER experience.
- Charge Nurse Experience.
- CTAS, Lead ll, ACLS, or equivalent certification.
- Completion of ENPEP modules.
