Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and operate utilities equipment, including steam plants, HVAC, compressed air, water systems, natural gas, and refrigeration.
  • Collaborate with contractors, manufacturers, and vendors to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and manage essential protocols, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Preventive Maintenance (PMs), Predictive Maintenance (PDM), and Work Orders (WOs).
  • Lead project development focusing on utilities enhancements and improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food safety policies and regulations.
  • Promote a culture of engagement, responsibility, and teamwork among employees.

Requirements:

  • 2nd Class Power Engineering certification.
  • Proficiency in managing steam, ammonia, and refrigeration systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Computer proficiency and experience with CMMS.
  • Experience in food production or manufacturing is a plus.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Experience with steam and refrigeration systems.
  • Additional certifications, such as Millwright & Plumbing, are advantageous.
  • Prior exposure to food processing and manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in computer operations, Microsoft Office, and CMMS.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and continuous improvement programs, such as 6Sigma.
  • Demonstrated initiative, leadership skills, and teamwork abilities.
  • Project management experience.
  • Desire to achieve personal and plant goals.
