The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled 2nd Class Power Engineer to join our dynamic food manufacturing team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance and ensuring the efficient operation of our plant.

As a 2nd Class Power Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating various utilities equipment and processes, including steam plants, HVAC, compressed air, water systems, natural gas, and refrigeration. You will also collaborate with contractors, manufacturers, and vendors to streamline operations and develop essential protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and operate utilities equipment and processes
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors
  • Develop and manage essential protocols
  • Spearhead project development and implementation
  • Uphold health, safety, and food safety policies
Requirements:
  • 2nd Class Power Engineering certification
  • Proficiency in managing steam, ammonia, and refrigeration systems
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to thrive with minimal supervision
  • Team player mentality with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
