Position OverviewThis role is pivotal within the ABB Installation Products Division, recognized as the leading manufacturer of electrification products in North America. We are in search of a proactive individual eager to embrace stimulating challenges as a Strategic Human Resources Partner.
Key Responsibilities- Engage in the formulation and dissemination of the organization's vision, fostering a culture of performance and recognition through strong leadership influence.
- Establish robust relationships with leaders across various employee groups, ensuring a collaborative approach and fairness in decision-making processes.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of organizational operations and requirements, identify human resources strategies, and implement performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to legal standards while overseeing human resources programs and policies, ensuring effective application by management.
- Develop and implement strategies for recruitment, pay equity, compensation, labor relations, and employee development aligned with organizational needs.
- Participate in various committees focused on pension plans, labor relations, and employee grievances.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and execute change management initiatives and continuous improvement activities within Human Resources.
- Uphold the company's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for actions while fostering a supportive environment.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a unionized setting.
- Proven experience in HR functions is essential; experience in mergers and acquisitions is advantageous.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with strong communication skills in both French and English.
- Exceptional team-building capabilities and a promoter of cross-site collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to influence decisions and align strategies with organizational goals.
- Results-driven with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and meet objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of human resources management laws and occupational health and safety regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new systems.
- Willingness to work in the office on a regular basis.
- Contribute to anticipating and responding to technological advancements.
- Assist clients in enhancing efficiency and sustainability, making a significant impact.
- Leverage your expertise to drive innovation in technology.
