About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Brockbank Residence. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their comfort and well-being.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring residents receive the care they need.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and supporting residents' dietary needs.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a Personal Support Worker Certificate, CPR Certificate, and First Aid Certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Availability: Availability to work 40 hours per week is required.
