About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Darlene's Home Support Services Inc. as a Home Support Worker. In this role, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, as well as administer bedside care.
  • Household Support: Provide light housekeeping and cleaning duties, as well as laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Engage in activities with clients, such as exercise, reading, or simply spending time together.
  • Transportation: Assist clients with transportation to appointments or errands, as needed.
Requirements
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
