Job Title: Landfill Equipment Operator

Acden is seeking a skilled Landfill Equipment Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various heavy equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers, and compactors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment to collect, transport, and dispose of waste
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment
  • Complete leachate level measurements and underdrain sampling
  • Assist with area maintenance duties, including minor repairs to roads/pads and snow removal
  • Operate skid steer and zoom boom to reposition and relocate waste bins

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience operating heavy equipment
  • Valid Class 5 license
  • Comprehensive pre-employment drug, alcohol, hearing, visual, and physical abilities testing
  • Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or equivalent
