Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Blue Hawk Security & Group Inc. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, identifying and reporting any issues or discrepancies.
  • User Support and Training: Provide technical assistance and training to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, equipment, or software.
  • Problem-Solving and Research: Consult technical manuals, user guides, and other documents to research and implement solutions to technical issues.
  • Incident Management: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts, and manage incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Backup and Recovery Operations: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to their technical needs and concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
