Job Summary

BHAGAT MOTORFREIGHT INC. is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative activities of our establishment, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they align with company policies and goals.
  • Carry out administrative activities, including data entry, report preparation, and budget management.
  • Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of administrative procedures and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee payroll administration and plan and control budget and expenditures.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Organized and reliable with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS Office and spreadsheet skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment with a team of professionals. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 30 to 40 hours per week.
