We are seeking a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team at Atelier Fabmec inc. in a permanent position.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in various locations. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and maintain machinery and equipment in accordance with blueprints and specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy loads
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues
- Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
- Hoisting and Rigging Training
- Forklift Operator Certification
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- 2 years of experience in a related field
The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including on-site and in the shop. The work environment will be physically demanding, with regular exposure to heights, noise, and dust.
