Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and conduct visual inspections of incoming products designated for distribution.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare documentation for all shipments and receipts.
  • Ensure that all items are received, documented, stored, and issued safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect for damages and generate damage reports as necessary.
  • Unpack and open crates for inventory management.
  • Verify routing information and allocate parts to the correct area or department.
  • Utilize best practices for packing materials for return shipments.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service team to understand shipping instructions and create necessary labels.
  • Finalize all shipments accurately.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of shipping supplies.

Position Requirements

  • Possession of a valid class 5 driver's license (or equivalent).
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds for approximately 25% of the workday.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Willingness to learn two inventory management systems.
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • A valid forklift operator's license is advantageous.
