The Strategic Development Program is designed to equip you with the skills necessary to shape your professional journey. Graduates of this program have successfully transitioned into various roles within EMCO, including Senior Account Managers, Technical Sales Specialists, and Operations Managers.
Daily Responsibilities at EMCO:
As a Trainee in the Development Program, you will navigate through a comprehensive 5-phase training regimen, gaining insights into every facet of our operations, from logistics to sales.
Phase 1 - Warehouse Logistics: Familiarize yourself with our product offerings, the supply chain process, and the essentials of sales support.
Phase 2 - Operations: Engage in customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory control, and financial oversight.
Phase 3 - Inside Sales/Project Management: Transition from assisting customers to managing significant projects.
Phase 4 - Outside Sales/Account Management: Discover new business prospects, sell our products, negotiate agreements, and cultivate relationships with clients and suppliers.
Phase 5 - In this final phase, you will leverage your training to identify your preferred career path within EMCO.
Candidate Profile
Ideal Qualifications:
· Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience
· Positive attitude with a results-driven approach
· Eagerness to learn and develop professionally
· Strong leadership, customer service, and organizational abilities
· High level of integrity and a robust work ethic
· Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively
· Excellent communication skills, capable of fostering strong relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Genuine interest in sales
· Valid driver's license
