Job Title: Flooring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Mr. Flooring Canada Corp. as a permanent employee.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered, as well as preparing and installing hardwood floors. They will also inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, estimate costs and materials, and prepare floors for installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Perform direct glue-down carpet installations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work in a team and provide excellent customer service
