Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Stationary Operating Engineer to join our team at St. Helen's Meat Packers Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete and maintain accurate records, logs, and reports of plant operations
  • Instruct and train apprentices in plant operations and maintenance
  • Assist in routine systems testing and troubleshooting
  • Develop and implement operation, maintenance, and safety procedures
  • Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Write detailed reports on plant operations and maintenance
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant equipment and systems.
