Position Overview
The Superintendent will lead, manage, and coordinate construction field activities, ensuring the performance of subcontractors and Turner Self-Perform Operations (SPO) staff for specific areas or small projects in the absence of the Project Superintendent. The role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols, schedule adherence, quality assurance, and budget management.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project activities in compliance with approved contract documents, scheduling, logistics, and quality control.
- Manage General Requirements and General Conditions (GR/GC) within the project budget.
- Supervise project mock-ups and associated testing, ensuring proper review and approval.
- Ensure the acquisition of necessary project permits and insurance, maintaining compliance throughout the project duration.
- Foster relationships with subcontractors and resolve local area issues related to procedures, design clarifications, and equipment scheduling.
- Develop and manage a jobsite safety program in collaboration with the EH&S team, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Create and communicate project schedules, identifying risks and implementing recovery strategies as needed.
- Manage the billing process for Work In Place (WIP) and oversee monthly estimates of completed work, payrolls, and subcontractor payments.
- Ensure installation compliance with approved contract documents.
- Apply continuous improvement concepts to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Supervise a team of Superintendent employees and Field Engineers, providing timely feedback and support for professional development.

The annual base salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $115,000, based on experience and fit. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction engineering principles, field supervision, scheduling, and project management.
- Extensive experience in safety practices and building construction materials.
- Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, and project schedules effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess strong communication skills.
