Colas Western Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Lafrentz Road Marking Labourer to join our team in Acheson. As a key member of our Production Department, you will play a vital role in assisting with all aspects of the production process, including thermo and cold plastics.
Key Responsibilities:- Comply with all safe working procedures and practices.
- Assist with all stages of the manufacturing process, including cross-training to complete the various required tasks.
- Contribute to the team's projects and assignments.
- Commitment and compliance with the facilities Six-S requirements.
- Provide support services to the Production Department and other Canadian Road Builders, Inc. divisions.
- Ensuring a safe, effective, and efficient operation.
- Valid driver's licenses (Class 5), along with a recent abstract required.
- Reliable transportation, no public transportation in Acheson.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset.
- Must be able to perform manual labour (ability to lift 30kg) and work in dusty physically demanding conditions.
- Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends, out of town when scheduled and required.
- Salary starting at $20.10 per hour, paid weekly. Salary is negotiable based on level of experience.
