Therapist - Fraser Health

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Enhanced Care Program at Fraser Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide specialized occupational therapy services to clients, promoting functional independence and occupational performance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct client assessments, develop service plans, and provide individual and group interventions to support occupational performance.
- Collaborate with the care team, community agencies, and clients to ensure a coordinated approach to service provision.
- Prescribe and recommend adaptive aids and equipment to support clients' daily living needs.
- Provide education and training to clients, families, and healthcare professionals on independent living skills, occupational performance, and environmental adaptations.
- Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities to ensure high-quality services.
- Represent Fraser Health on local committees and contribute to the development of policy, program planning, and standards.
- Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
- Two years' recent experience working in a community setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid B.C. Class V Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes.
- Working knowledge of current developments in occupational therapy, psychiatric rehabilitation, psychosocial approaches, and recovery practices.
- Demonstrated ability to use activity analysis to assess occupational performance and modify the activity, environment, or supports to enable occupation.
- Ability to utilize outcome measurement tools and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
