About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Amazon Fulfillment Technologies Support Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications that support our fulfillment services process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop monitoring solutions to ensure the stability and performance of our software applications.
  • Perform software maintenance and configuration to ensure seamless operation.
  • Implement fixes for internally developed code using languages such as Perl, Ruby, C/C++, and Java.
  • Perform SQL queries to analyze and resolve technical challenges.
  • Build and develop tools to automate daily operational activities.
Requirements
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
  • Experience with tools for automation, building, testing, releasing, or monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of Python scripting language.
  • Experience working with highly concurrent, high-throughput systems and complex distributed systems.
