Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Toronto Poly Clinic Inc.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Assist clients with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Administer medications and perform other tasks as required by clients' care plans.
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move clients safely, if necessary.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if required).
Work Environment:

The Personal Support Worker will work in clients' homes, providing care and support in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to changing situations.
